A green card with gold raised lettering comes with each egg which says the following:
"These ostich eggs are made in South Africa by Zulu women. Sherry Rowe, an
award winning artist supervises the layout and signs each egg. Sherry drew many
of the designs. The beautiful colors are applied by hand and after applied to the egg.
Fifty coats of varnish are applied to protect the egg and add to the beauty of the finish.
The egg is glued to its stand which is either Olivewoold or a gold painted stand.
Mrs Rowe's home and factory are located in Assagay Valley in Kwa-Zulu-Natal.
